Machine and systems were developed for feeding-sorting-checking the assembly.
The final machine fed two components which were sorted. One directed to a work bin and the other checked for orientation and presented to a station where a pin was inserted into the component.
A vibrator fed system was used for the components. The machine was PLC controlled with pneumatic operation. A Grandson Pty. Ltd. control system monitoring, test and self correction facility was applied.
High reliability and accuracy were required by the customer in this project. The need to ensure a high operating speed was a key factor.
